| Edward William Walford and wife Fanny had seven children, Eva, Samuel, William, Herbert, Bessie, Amy and Clarence. The family were musicians and played the hand bells touring and giving concerts. Early pioneers of cinema, this soon become their main business. There was in later years a long association with Rowland Reeves, Eva's daughter Irene marrying Mr Reeves and Samuel was in business with him in Somerset. William ran the Cornwall cinemas.
