1923 he is running Penzance Cinemas Ltd who are operating the Cinema (Savoy),
Picturedrome (Regal) and Pavilion. Also St Ives Palais, disposed of in 1928.
He commissioned plans for a large 30s cinema in Penzance, but this was not built. All the
Penzance cinemas sold by 1939. On 6.6.1938 he personally takes the Gaiety, Newlyn but
only briefly. He is later Mayor of Penzance.
