J H Nicholls of 50 Ebrington Street, Plymouth operated a part time 16mm cinema at the Church Hall. The operation was run during the late 1950s and seating was restricted to 250 in stalls and balcony. The licence required that a store of rubbish beneath the balcony staircase be removed from the building before the licence be granted.
